Conservation workdays with the Rangers
Get some fresh air and exercise while helping to care for your local environment.
Join the Kings Heath Hub Rangers and other local volunteers working on sites around Hall Green and Selly Oak and learn new skills.
We will be carrying out a range of practical tasks on these sites and the Rangers will provide instruction and guidance on safe tool use and appropriate habitat management to help improve these areas for wildlife and public use.
Tasks include litter picking, path clearance, coppicing, hedge laying, wetland management and anything else that needs doing. (No pressure, just do as much or as little as you like, but it does help if you are there for the start of the activity as it saves having to repeat the health and safety talk....)
Remember to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear and bring a snack to keep you going.
